Ramón Sánchez Fernández

Ramón is a structural engineer, member of the ICE (UK), and currently heads the Technical Department at Sacyr. He has been involved in a number of landmark projects such as the 236m Tower SyV, Metropol Parasol in Seville, hospitals in Milan, Cardiff and Grandview, as well as airports in Lima and Menorca. He is co-author of “Números Gordos en el Proyecto de Estructuras”, a bestseller in the Spanish construction industry, and co-translator of D. Billington’s “The Tower and the Bridge” into Spanish
